ஆல முண்டான் அடியாரைக் காத்திடவே காலனை யுதைத்துக் காய்ந்தானே — ஞாலத்து வெற்றி வடிவேலன் தந்தை விறல்சிவன் நற்றாள் தொழநமக் குண்டு.

உலகைக் காப்பதற்காக நஞ்சினை (ஆலகால விஷத்தை) உண்டவனும், தன் அடியாரான மார்க்கண்டேயனைக் காக்க அந்த எமனையே காலால் உதைத்து அழித்தவனுமாகிய, உலகமே போற்றும் வெற்றி வடிவேலனின் (முருகனின்) தந்தையான ஆற்றல்மிக்க சிவபெருமானின் நல்ல திருவடிகளை நாம் தொழுது வணங்கினால், எவ்விடத்தும் எப்போதும் நமக்கு வெற்றியே உண்டாகும்!
